RUPANDEHI - The Rupandehi District Court has given a verdict of life imprisonment along with confiscation of entire property of Sujit BK for his involvement in the murder of CPN (UML) cadre Prachanda Thaiba.
District judge Balendra Rupakheti on Tuesday issued such verdict concluding BK as the main culprit in the murder case.
Similarly, the court has slapped Rs 20,000 in fine to Lekhnath Neupane and Lok Bahadur Gurung each for giving shelter to the murderer after the incident.
However, the court has given a clean cheat to BK in a weapons smuggling case.
The then district chief of Young Communist League BK had fled after murdering Thaiba on March 26, 2009. RSS
